What began in 2016 with a single cottage and a dream has grown into Thorntree Camp. The distant roar of lions at night, the morning chorus of hornbills, and sunsets so vivid they outshine any photograph.  We offer a collection of tented bush camps, cosy cabins, and a self-catering cottage—each offering privacy, comfort, and an authentic connection to the wild. Evenings are for crackling campfires and braais beneath a sky full of stars. Mornings may begin with giraffes wandering the fence line, while afternoons often end with a soak in our Tickel Tub hot tub. Close encounters with the Big Five, the haunting calls of hyena and jackal, or simply a peaceful escape from the city, Thorntree promises more than just a stay.
